4 Traditions Of Giving Larson Manufacturing Honors Annually UnitedWayCommittee-2016.jpg

Sharing with our employees and our community is part of Larson Manufacturing’s culture. Commitment to our communities is supported at the highest levels of the company, but it runs deeper than a corporate initiative. It is the fabric of who we are.

For the past 60 years, it has been a corporate mission to promote charitable giving throughout the company. While our annual giving varies each year, four traditions of giving occur annually.

Live United

Larson Manufacturing and its employees proudly campaign and raise funds for the United Way annually. We are regularly top United Way fundraisers in the communities in which we have operations.

These successful campaign results further support LARSON Vision-Mission-Values statementand are a true measure of the generous and caring employees at Larson Manufacturing.

Habitat for Humanity

Larson Manufacturing is a cornerstone partner with Habitat for Humanity. We proudly donate over 3,000 storm doors annually to Habitat for Humanity International, an organization that builds homes for those in need. Additionally, we are committed to annually funding the construction of a Habitat Home in each community in which we have operations.

Holiday Treats

Each year we thank our employees around the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.7 008.jpg We do this with holiday hams and turkeys. While it might be a small gesture, it’s one we take pride in. The holidays can be a stressful time, so we try to help our employees with these treats.

LARSON Scholarship

LARSON has given over $4 million in scholarships over the last 27 years.

The Larson Memorial Scholarship Program was established in memory of Oscar Larson, the founder of Larson Manufacturing. Oscar Larson believed that every student should have the opportunity for a great education.  This program encourages children of LARSON employees to continue their education after high school.

Scholarship winners are selected by the independent Brookings Foundation, based on the student’s potential and desire to succeed in their chosen education program, his or her record in high school, community activities, and work experience. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $3,600 and are renewable annually for up to five years.

Whether it’s supporting the local Boys and Girls Club, making a generous donation to a city park, helping a student through school, or building a home for a family in need--LARSON holds a time-honored tradition of community support--it's what makes us great.
